Terms of Use

1. Eligibility & membership

The platform is a members-only service for CEFA members and organizations approved by CEFA. Accounts are subject to verification. CEFA may decline, restrict, suspend, or remove accounts that do not meet eligibility or that misuse the platform.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure. Do not share your account, impersonate others, or misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or authority to act for an organization.

3. Acceptable use

Use the platform only for legitimate hiring and career activity. You agree not to:

• Send unsolicited mass outreach or use the platform to spam members or employers.
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-export data, or attempt to access data you are not authorized to see.
• Post false, misleading, discriminatory, or unlawful content, including non-compliant job postings.
• Probe, disrupt, or circumvent the platform's security or access controls.

4. Content & permissions

You retain ownership of the materials you upload. By submitting an application, you authorize the posting employer to review the materials you send. By posting a job, an employer confirms it is authorized to recruit for that role and that the posting is lawful and non-discriminatory.

5. Employer obligations

Employers must comply with applicable equal-opportunity and employment laws, handle candidate data responsibly, and use applicant information only for the role applied to. Internal recruiting notes are the employer's responsibility.

6. No employment guarantee

CEFA facilitates connections between members and verified employers but does not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, or any hiring outcome. Match scores are assistive recommendations only and do not constitute a decision.

7. Availability & changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and may update these terms. Continued use after notice of material changes constitutes acceptance.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The platform is provided on an "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CEFA is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to CEFA's operating jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.
